Following her recent award-winning successes on Company and Angels in America, Marianne Elliott co-directs Death of a Salesman with Miranda Cromwell, who worked as Associate Director on both shows. Together, they bring a unique vision to one of the greatest plays of the twentieth century, seen through the eyes of an African-American family.

Piccadilly Theatre to reopen following an investigation
Both the Piccadilly Theatre and its current show Death of a Salesman made headlines last Wednesday for all the wrong reasons when the ceiling collapsed on several audience members mid-performance, resulting in minor injuries. Following a thorough investigation, the venue has announced that they have every intention to resume the show tonight (11 November 2019) with a 'yay or nay' confirmation scheduled to be released this afternoon after 4 pm.

Ceiling collapses on theatregoers at Piccadilly Theatre during performance of Death of a Salesman
London's Piccadilly Theatre was evacuated last night (6 November 2019) after the ceiling collapsed on audience members mid-performance during Death of a Salesman. Several theatregoers were injured during the incident and luckily no deaths have been reported.

Strictly champion Ore Oduba to host first Black British Theatre Awards (BBTA)
It has just been announced that Strictly Come Dancing star Ore Oduba is set to host the inaugural Black British Theatre Awards (BBTA), which will be held at The Old Finsbury Town Hall in Islington, London this Sunday, 27 October 2019. The first-ever BBTA ceremony was announced last month alongside the shortlist of nominees, among which include Layton Williams (Everybody's Talking About Jamie), Arinzé Kene (Misty), Sharon D Clarke (Death of a Salesman), and many more!

2019 Knight of Illumination Award winners #KOI2019

The awards were held at the Eventim Apollo in London on 15 September in a ceremony that featured George Hall, Louise Levene, Neile Fisher, Michael Billington, Tim Bano, and Zoë Anderson as judges. Further casting announced for Death of a Salesman at the Piccadilly Theatre
Further cast members, who are set to join Sharon D. Clarke and Wendell Pierce, have been announced for the upcoming West End transfer of Death of a Salesman. The show heads to the Piccadilly Theatre in London on 23 October 2019 following a successful, Off-West End run at the Young Vic.
