We'll tell you as soon as tickets go on sale:

This year Richard Alston celebrates both his sixtieth birthday and forty years of choreography with a special programme which includes two world premieres and a new work created earlier in 2008, never before performed in London.

The Men In My Life is a celebration of the remarkable work that Alston has made for male dancers, ranging from an early solo, Strider (1971), through to choreography made for such outstanding dancers as Michael Clark, Darshan Singh Bhuller and Martin Lawrance, right up to the latest dances for Jonathan Goddard, nominated this year for the Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance. The programme also features the world premiere of Blow Over, co-commissioned by Sadler’s Wells and Dance Umbrella and set to the racing pace of Philip Glass’s Songs From Liquid Days; and new to London, Shuffle It Right, inspired by the idiosyncratic and jazzy songs of Hoagy Carmichael.
